Right now, I'm reading THE LITTLE BOOKSHOP ON THE SEINE BY Rebecca Raisin (Hello, 2015?) I know I'm late to that party, but I love books that feel cozy in this world that feels crazy. Looking for some warm & fuzzy contemp novels with a smidge of magic. Any recommendations?
For warm, cozy contemporary with magic, maybe try TJ Klune (The House in the Cerulean Sea), Matt Haig (The Midnight Library), Evelyn Skye (The Incredible Kindness of Paper), Alix Harrow (The Thousand Doors of January), and Sarah Penner (The Lost Apothecary).
If you lean more literary, anything by Sarah Addison Allen.
In the romance department, Ashley Poston does warm and fuzzy with speculative twists, Christina Lauren always feels like a giggle and hug (my fav was The Soul Mate Equation and In a Holidaze), and BK Borison is the cozy romance queen. BK Borison's newest direction (Good Spirits and Grim Tidings) includes magic.
If you want more than a smidge of magic, some cozy fantasies that I recommend are Heather Fawcett (Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries - amazing audio) and Sarah Beth Durst (Spell Shop).
If you like a bit of historical, I highly recommend Barbara Davis (The Keeper of Happy Endings), and for the best historical romance, Evie Dunmore (A League of Extraordinary Women Series - no magic in these but so very good).
I wonder what other readers would recommend. I will be watching this thread of suggestions!

Thank you for your wonderful suggestions! Some I’ve read, but others will be added to my list!
